Goals of the Project

 

Without trying to throw the problems of minorities into the dark, by using means of contemporary art, this project will attempt to outline a natural and ordinary human activity and way of life, thus shielding it from qualifications and definitions such as machism, sexism, etc., as well as preserving and making sense of it as necessary human conduct of vital importance. In the struggle for equality and human dignity, this project aims to defend the equal rights of those who are not different, and to protect the balance between The Same/The Other. A lot has been written, said, and done about “other-ness,” but always with “same-ness” as the starting point. With “other-ness” as its base, this project’s goal is to rethink and redefine “same-ness” as a philosophical and artistic practice.
